Mac's Ultra Pack Tie Down Strap Kit is the right choice for tight clearances. The axle straps are shaped for tight clearance, rotating the hook latch 90 degrees to the strap, aligning it for easy connection to the axle strap rings. Fabricated using the thickest material and highest stitch count available, each 2” strap is rated for a 10,000 lb. operating load. The hooks on both ends are designed so the latches are oriented perfectly when attaching to the trailer mount points. Only the highest quality strap material is used, which significantly improves chafing and UV resistance over “standard” straps. The easy release ratchet handle eliminates any adjustment stickiness with a free-wheeling strap mandrel. The one piece handle and mandrel caps make the handle more rigid and keep debris out of the moving parts. Mud, dirt, and sharp edges can fuzz and degrade a strap from the regular chaffing during transport. A 20 inch Cordura sleeve shields the axle strap from excessive wear. Since the axle strap is removable, these tie downs offer more versatility than integrated axle strap solutions. The sewn end is the traditional end configuration, where a fixed length of webbing separates the attachment hook from the ratchet handle. This ratchet end style is best for unusual space constraints or trailer configurations. After securing your vehicle, use the included Strap Wraps to neatly hold excess strapping in place. Then, use them to bundle each strap for storage in the included heavy duty padded bag. The tough canvas body is ready to handle your tie down hardware with a heavy-duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when wearing gloves. An internal frame supports the bag when open, making the contents more accessible. The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.
