Boyo's VTG500X CarKuda replacement mirror is a satisfying all-in-one solution when a touchscreen receiver isn't a fit for your dash. Its built-in dash cam and onboard navigation step up your in-car experience, plus there's room to add a rear-view camera (not included). Best of all, you get to the keep the factory look of your ride. A 5" touchscreen monitor is housed inside a full-size working rear-view mirror, so you have access to plenty of features without cluttering up your dash with extra devices, and an FM transmitter lets you wirelessly channel audio to your car's stereo.

A dash cam when (and where) you need it

Accidents happen, but Boyo's built-in dash cam gives you a record of events for insurance purposes later. The VTG500X records the road ahead in standard or high definition. The footage is stored on a removable microSD™ memory card of up to 32GB capacity (not included), and is viewable right on the mirror's screen. Snapshots are also easy with the press of a button. Additionally, you can manage your video and photo files using the mirror's touchscreen. 

Navigation where you can see it

Want convenient GPS guidance using your rear-view mirror as a monitor? The VTG500X comes pre-loaded with Google Maps and Sygic GPS navigation applications, and an external GPS antenna tracks your vehicle when you're on the road to give you turn-by-turn navigation. You can follow the directions on the mirror's 5" inset as the voice prompts alert you to upcoming turns over your car's audio system.

Built-in Wi-Fi

Do you have a favorite app to use in the car? Built-in Wi-Fi lets you use your smartphone as a hotspot on the move or your home's internet when parked to access the Google Play Store onboard and download apps directly to the VTG500X, which runs on an Android OS.

Monitoring your vehicle

Need to monitor a fleet vehicle equipped with the VTG500X or maybe you have a new teen driver behind the wheel? Using Boyo's downloadable app for iOS and Android devices, you'll be able to remotely access live images, recent routes and other GPS information, and safety alerts like hard-braking as long as the VTG500X has an Internet connection onboard your vehicle.

Add a backup cam

Boyo also includes an additional video input if you want to add a rear-view camera and use the VTG500X as a monitor.

Installation

To install this Boyo mirror, you'll remove your existing rear-view mirror, choose from the included adapters and apply it to the VTG500X, and then mount your new mirror onto your factory mounting bracket. Additionally, you will need to hardwire the VTG500X to vehicle power using the included wiring harness. If you have not attempted this kind of installation before, professional installation is recommended.
