Convert-A-Ball Receiver Pintle Hitch with Nickel-Plated Steel 3-Ball Set • PH-2
This Convert-A-Ball Receiver Hitch system tows pintle-equipped trailers with pintle sleeve and converts to regular trailer towing with a nickel-plated steel interchangeable-ball. It fits into a standard 2" receiver, or a 2-1/2" receiver with a sleeve adapter (not included). It requires a standard 5/8" hitch pin (not included). With the pintle sleeve, latch engaged and locked, the hitch is rated 16,000 lbs. gross trailer weight. When towing with the interchangeable balls, the hitch is rated 10,000 gross trailer weight. A spring-loaded, double engagement latch locks through the pintle sleeve and pintle ring for increased strength and reliability. An automatic rustproof latch and manual safety pin ensures a locked hook-up. Convert from pintle hitch to ball hitch quickly and easily without tools. The pintle sleeve removes to reveal a Convert-A-Ball Shank for use with the included 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" balls. The pintle latch self-parks as to not interfere with the coupler during hook-up and towing with the balls. Grease zirc allows for lubrication of the latch and locking mechanism.
